Vangie was raised in North Carolina, and met her husband Earl Berry (originally from Canada) at a Bible College in Florida. They married in 1970 and have 3 children, Jason, Ryan and Lisa – As a homemaker and Mom, Vangie “home schooled” her children and instilled in them her passion for life, strong family values, work ethics, integrity, and a genuine love of helping people reach their goals. Now all three are happily married and have blessed Vangie and Earl with 7 beautiful grandchildren.

Earl is Vangie´s lifetime partner and most avid supporter.  Like Vangie, Earl was also raised in a minister´s home and has built his life on strong Biblical principles.   Raised in Canada, Earl moved to Florida in 1969 where he met Vangie, and they were married in 1970.  After a successful 28 year career in Healthcare, Earl took an early retirement from Radiology to join Vangie at Vangie Berry Signature Realty in order to help develop the company, and add a “new dimension” to operating a Real Estate business.

Earl´s role as Vangie´s business partner is to help each agent discover the “power of independence.”  Earl believes “that independence is about having the freedom to live life on your terms.  It´s having the passion to pursue your dreams each and every day.  And it´s having the determination to chart your own course for success in order to achieve a higher quality of life for yourself and your family.”

In November of 2003, I received my real estate license and in October of 2008 I received my broker’s license!  Before that, I worked as a veterinary technicianfor 9 years.  God blessed me with a beautiful wife in January of 2010 and our son Connor was adopted from Guatemala.  If I were to tell you a little bit about myself, I would have to say I just have a passion for life!  I love spending time with my family and friends.  I enjoy just about any sport, movies, adventures and I love the Great Outdoors!  I’ve enjoyed adventures such as SCUBA diving and skydiving twice.  I am still itching for another jump!

“WHY RYAN MOVED TO EUSTIS”- In His Own Words- I chose to live in Eustis because I Love the location.  I am close to everything and yet I am also only 45 minutes from Orlando.  I live in a beautiful subdivision on Lake Eustis and its a very peaceful & quiet neighborhood. So while it feels like at home I am excluded from civilization, in reality it is only a 10 minute drive to anywhere I need to be.  Eustis is a small town but at the same time it is growing & getting better.  I look forward to living here for many more years to come!

After about 18 months of being a single agent, Vangie’s business had grown to the extent she really needed additional help. She then hired one part time assistant, then another, and finally, 7 years ago, hired Earl Berry, to be her full time assistant. A couple of years later, Earl got his real estate license, enabling him to be even more effective in assisting Vangie. Business continued to be so abundant that she realized further change was needed. Believing in the acronym, TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More), Vangie and her son, Ryan, having become a successful agent in his own right, together decided to become a team. Their systems have been tweaked and changed over the years, and each of them handle their own clients, but the 3 have formed a vital team, each with a passion for serving clients with excellence. They each cover for the other when one is out of town or not available, and it enables client service to “flow” with no interruption in service, which is of primary importance to all 3 of them.  Earl is vital to the team, assisting Vangie in a multitude of ways, one of which is primarily “Customer Care” –  Earl is the one who maintains weekly contact with Vangie’s clients, as well as handling every detail of the transactions, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. I have been happily married to Dan for 24 years. We have two wonderful daughters, Angel (married to Steve) and Beth (married to Chris), who are both in Real Estate in our home state of Maryland. They have given us three adorable granddaughters, Amanda Grace, Chloe and Lucy.

We moved to Floirda at the urging of several of our Maryland friends who had fallen in love with the Lake County area. So here we are goodbye to Maryland. We currently live in Royal Highlands and love to show off our active adult lifestyle here in Central Florida.

“WHY DUANE LIVES IN TAVARES”-In His Own Words- I live in Venetian Village subdivision located in Tavares, Florida. I have lived there over 28 years and I Love It. As the name Venetian implies we are surrounded by a series of canals that lead to Lake Beauclair and the Harris Chain of Lakes. This is not a cookie cutter subdivision, with each home having its own personality. It has a country atmosphere with large lots on a winding no outlet street. It has easy access to 429 if you work or shop in Orlando. This is truly a great neighborhood that I do not plan on moving anytime soon.

My career in real estate began in 1975 as a title clerk with Chelsea Title.  From there, I managed the real estate department in a major law firm in Winter Park.  After thirty years with the law firm, I retired and made the commitment to further my career in becoming a real estate sales associate.

Being a native Floridian, I grew up in the Central Florida area.  My husband of over 34 years and I raised our two children here and our current home is in Sorrento.
